Hello, my name is Faraz. By day I am a Protein Expression and Process Development Scientist. I have a Ph.D in Cell Physiology and Molecular Biophysics but I also hold degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences. During my studies I served as President of Animal Club at the University and volunteered in shelters and rehab centers for wild animals. My dream is to one day save millions of animals and I work toward that future every single day. In addition to my passion for animals, have a love of music. I play the pipe organ, piano, accordion, bagpipes, harmonica, and ocarina. Although classically trained, I love to make people happy using my music. While at University, I joined a group called “Clinic Clowns” and learned to play bagpipes in effort to entertain and help the children in the pediatric cancer ward laugh and forget their illness for a moment.
